Half-Life 2 RTX demo will be released next week: developer revealed footage of the updated game

NVIDIA and Orbifold Studios have shared some important news about the semi-official Half-Life 2 remaster.

The developers announced that on the 18th of March everyone will be able to try Half-Life 2 RTX demo version.

One of the most atmospheric locations - Revenholm and Nova Prospekt - was chosen as a demonstration of the new version of the famous game.

The game will feature full ray tracing, high-resolution textures, updated assets and DLSS 4 anti-aliasing technology with Multi Frame Generation support.

The team of enthusiasts is using the most advanced tools from NVIDIA to bring the 2004 game up to modern standards, and judging by the clips, they're doing a great job.

The release date of the full Half-Life 2 RTX version is still unknown.
