How to survive on Arrakis: gameplay trailer of ambitious survival simulator Dune: Awakening presented

Funcom Studios has unveiled a new trailer for the ambitious survival simulator Dune: Awakening.

Viewers were reminded that they will get to Arrakis - "the most dangerous planet in the universe".

Here's What We Know

The voiceover tells us that to survive and thrive on Arrakis, you'll need to be brave, resourceful, adaptable and able to get along with new allies.

Gamers will have to explore the most dangerous corners of the desert, inspect outposts of bandits and other groups, look for valuable items in the wreckage of space shuttles, climb up steep cliffs, use ground transport and flying ornithopter, as well as use special gadgets, such as a hook for a quick climb and energy belt to briefly take off into the air.

Of course, it is also necessary to take care of suitable weapons in advance, because without them the journey will quickly end.

Arrakis is full of dangers, but it also rewards courage and attentiveness.

When We Can Expect It

Dune: Awakening will release on PC on 20 May, with release dates for PlayStation and Xbox to be announced later.
