Yesterday, 13 March, a meeting was held between the delegations of the defence ministries of Iran and Belarus, during which the parties agreed to expand military cooperation.

Here's What We Know

Iranian Defence Minister General Amir Nasirzadeh and Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Dmitriy Pantus discussed the implementation of previously concluded agreements and prospects for future cooperation. The Iranian delegation confirmed its readiness for further transfer of military technology, while the Belarusian side stressed the importance of accelerating joint projects in the field of military equipment production.

Earlier it became known that Belarus is already using Iranian weapons in the military sphere. For example, in July 2024, during a military parade in Minsk, Shahed-136 attack drones, which are manufactured in Russia, were demonstrated.
