MediaTek has announced the Dimensity developer conference, which will be held on 11 April. The new flagship Dimensity 9400+ chipset is expected to be unveiled at the event.
Here's What We Know
Although MediaTek has not officially mentioned the name of the chipset, the statement about the launch of a "flagship 5G AI chipset" points to this particular model. According to leaks, the Dimensity 9400+ will be an improved version of last year's Dimensity 9400, with an increased Cortex-X925 super core frequency from 3.62GHz to 3.7GHz.
Despite the slight increase in frequency, the chipset is expected to receive additional improvements, including power efficiency optimisations and AI performance enhancements. The first devices with this chip, such as the Oppo Find X8S and vivo X200S, could arrive as early as April.
