Don't expect One UI 8 just yet: Samsung has denied rumours of testing a new version of the operating system
In March, rumours surfaced online that Samsung had started testing the One UI 8 operating system earlier than expected. This surprised many people, as even One UI 7 has not yet been released on all the announced gadgets, and already there is talk about the eighth version of the software.
The South Korean company responded to the speculations and gave a comment that answers all questions.
Here's What We Know
A moderator of the Samsung US community said that at the moment it is early and pointless to talk about One UI 8, as the system has not yet been officially announced.
We understand the hype around future software updates, but as of now One UI 8 has not been officially announced for any device. While some reports may claim that certain devices with One UI 8 have been spotted, these are most likely internal Samsung test devices that are being used in the early stages of development. As always, we recommend relying on Samsung's official channels for confirmed updates rather than third-party leaks.

There's no doubt that Samsung is working on One UI 8, but it's clear that the information about it starting testing was premature and knowingly speculative.
