Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge may be coming to India: confirmed via BIS registration

Samsung's new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, looks set to be available in India soon. The latest data from the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) registration database indicates that the model, which has the SM-S937B/DS number, may be this particular novelty.

Here's What We Know

Although the exact name of the device has not yet been confirmed, the DS marking indicates support for two SIM cards.

Galaxy S25 Edge models have been on the market for a long time. Recently, details about its price and specifications were revealed. The smartphone is expected to be only 5.84 mm thick and weigh about 162 grams, with a starting price of approximately USD 999. It could be launched in April 2025.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The device is likely to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for Galaxy.

As for the camera, the phone is equipped with a dual sensor, where the main one has a resolution of 200 megapixels and an additional ultra-wide lens has a resolution of 12 megapixels. For selfies and video calls, there's a 12MP front-facing camera.

Another important feature is the 3900 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. These characteristics make the Galaxy S25 Edge a powerful competitor among the flagship smartphones of 2025.

Recently, it became known that Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 FE series of tablets may become more expensive compared to the previous version.
