Rumour: Naughty Dog was inspired by Elden Ring when creating Intergalactic to give players more freedom

Naughty Dog presented its new sci-fi project Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. According to rumours, the game should provide a level of freedom comparable to Elden Ring.
Here's What We Know
Insiders report that the game draws inspiration from Elden Ring, giving players significant freedom of action and open locations to explore. This is a departure from Naughty Dog's traditional linear approach, which theoretically looks interesting.
Naughty Dog tried to give more freedom in one of the first locations of The Last of Us Part II, so in Intergalactic, we probably won't be led by the hand, but will choose where to go and what to do.
According to Neil Druckmann, Creative Director at Naughty Dog, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will tell the story of bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun, who is stranded on the remote planet Sempiria, trying to escape from a crime syndicate. The game explores themes of faith and religion in a futuristic setting.
