Oppo is preparing to launch a new series of Find X8 smartphones in April this year. In addition to the Find X8 Ultra model, the company will also introduce the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Watch X2 Mini, and new Enco Free 4 TWS wireless headphones.

Here's What We Know

The new models of the Find X8 series are expected to have different screen sizes. The largest variant with a 6.6-inch diagonal is likely to be called Oppo Find X8s+, and the compact model with a 6.31-inch display will be Oppo Find X8s.

Recently, the product manager of the Oppo Find series shared the first image of the Find X8s on Weibo, confirming its name and showing off the display design.

In the image published by Yibao, the upcoming Oppo Find X8s is seen on the left and the iPhone 16 Pro Max on the right.

According to the company, the Find X8s display uses the latest screen technology developed by Oppo itself. It allows you to create incredibly narrow bezels. The black frame around the screen is only 1 mm.

The Oppo Find X8s will have a 6.31-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset with a 5700 mAh battery, 80W wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging.

The main camera of the Find X8s will have a 50MP OIS, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscopic telephoto lens. The new device will also have a new Magic Cube button instead of the Alert Slider and will be IP68/69 protected, with a body thickness of less than 8.15 mm and a weight of up to 187 grams.
