It's official: Samsung will release One UI 7 on 7 April

Samsung has officially confirmed that the One UI 7 stable update will begin to roll out gradually from 7 April. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy Fold 6, and Galaxy Flip 6 series will receive it first.

Here's What We Know

These models will be the first to appreciate all the new features of One UI 7.

The system was already available as a beta version for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 line, so users have already had the opportunity to get acquainted with its new features. However, the company is now ready to release a stable version for more smartphones.

After 7 April, the update will gradually roll out to other models:

  • Galaxy S23
  • Galaxy S23+
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra
  • Galaxy S24 FE
  • Galaxy Flip 5
  • Galaxy Fold 5
  • Galaxy Tab S9
  • Galaxy Tab S9+
  • Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
  • Galaxy Tab S10+
  • Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

Samsung also said that this is just the first wave of updates, and more devices will get access to One UI 7 over time.

This update is based on Android 15 and will bring improvements in UI, stability, and functionality. Note that the latest beta version, which is already available for the Galaxy S24, may be the last one before the stable version is released. There is a possibility that Samsung will release another beta version before the official launch.

Samsung notes that the One UI 7.0 interface was created from scratch to interact with artificial intelligence. The company claims that the new interface has a "simple, efficient, and emotional design".

The update offers an improved home screen, smoother animations and transitions, updated widgets for the home and locked screens, and a new Now Bar.

One UI 7 also includes new and improved Galaxy AI features, including AI Select, Audio Eraser, Drawing Assist, Writing Assist, and an improved search engine in the Settings app.
