Ubisoft implements plan to protect Assassin's Creed Shadows developers from online bullying

Ubisoft has developed a special plan to protect its employees working on the Assassin's Creed Shadows game from possible harassment on social media. This decision was made in response to the negative reaction of the gaming community to the inclusion of the black samurai character Yasuke and other controversial decisions.
Here's What We Know
According to the French media outlet BFMTV, Ubisoft employees were advised not to disclose their involvement in the company on social media to avoid possible harassment. Besides, Ubisoft cooperates with the Communications Security Establishment, the national cryptographic agency of Canada, as the game is developed by Ubisoft Quebec studio.
The company has also provided psychological and legal support for employees who may become targets of attacks due to their involvement in the game's development. A special team monitors social media activity, and lawyers are ready to file complaints if necessary.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is due out on 20 March and is one of Ubisoft's most important games in recent years, which could determine the company's future.
