Ark: Survival Ascended will receive Lost Colony DLC, the story of which will build a bridge to Ark 2

Ark fans have been waiting for any news about Ark 2 since its announcement at The Game Awards 2020. Now, Studio Wildcard has announced the first expansion for Ark: Survival Ascended, called Lost Colony, which will be released in November this year and will become a bridge between the current story and the upcoming sequel.

Here's What We Know

In this expansion, players will control the character Mei Ying, voiced by actress Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All At Once). Lost Colony will take players to a new world where they can discover secrets and unlock new abilities, equipment, and building systems.

Lost Colony will be the first original expansion for Ark: Survival Ascended, which connects the Extinction and Genesis storylines and leads to the events of Ark 2. This means that players will be able to get a story that lays the foundation for the upcoming sequel.

Lost Colony DLC will be released in November this year for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The pre-order will open in June, and now you can add it to your Steam wishlist. The price of the add-on will be about $30.
