New Core Time 2 smartwatch: The successor to the Pebble Time 2 with a touchscreen and up to 30 days of battery life

Former Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky has announced the launch of a new line of smartwatches based on PebbleOS, developed by Core Devices. One of the first devices was the Core Time 2, which is the successor to the Pebble Time 2 and combines traditional design with modern technology.
Here's What We Know
The Core Time 2 features a 1.5-inch colour ePaper display with a resolution of 200x228 pixels and a flat glass to reduce glare. This allows users to use the watch comfortably in any environment. The watch supports touch input, which allows for interactive interaction with applications and widgets, reminiscent of the functionality of more expensive smartwatches such as the Apple Watch.
The watch case is made of metal and is also waterproof (IPX8). The Core Time 2 is equipped with a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, pedometer, as well as a microphone and speaker. The claimed operating time on a single charge is up to 30 days.
The watch will be available in black and white colours for $225, with the option to add a third colour. The app for the device will be available for Android and iOS platforms. Core Time 2 is expected to be available in December 2025 via the rePebble store.
The creator of the legendary Pebble also announced the new Core 2 Duo smartwatch on PebbleOS. The Core 2 Duo is a more affordable model that has been updated compared to the Pebble 2 released in 2016. The watch is available for pre-order only.
