Kingdoms update for Darkest Dungeon II is now available on PlayStation 5: defend your taverns from attack in new mode

The Kingdoms mode for Darkest Dungeon II, which was previously released on PC, is now available on PlayStation 5 as a free update. This mode significantly changes the structure of the game, offering players a new type of experience where they have to defend their possessions from attacks.

The Kingdoms mode puts players in front of a new challenge: defending a series of taverns from attacks by the Hunger of the Beast clan. Players must not only repel enemy attacks, but also keep their heroes in a combat-ready state. The first adventure module, Hunger of the Beast Clan, is just the beginning - two more modules are scheduled for release in 2025.

Along with the Kingdoms mode, the paid DLC Inhuman Bondage was released, adding a new hero, The Abomination. This update offers a new mini-region, the Catacombs, and a new enemy faction.

Darkest Dungeon II is a dark and challenging tactical combat role-playing game that takes players into a world full of ruthless battles and mental anguish.
