Exynos 2500 processor may only appear in Samsung Galaxy Flip FE smartphone

The Exynos 2500 chipset, which was originally expected to be used in the Galaxy S25 series, may be implemented exclusively in the more affordable Galaxy Flip FE model.

According to a recent report out of Korea, there has been a disagreement within Samsung's mobile division on the matter. The Exynos 2500 was previously expected to be used in the Galaxy Flip7, but the company decided not to risk the successful series that has always been based on Snapdragon chipsets. This would keep the loyalty of the buyers.

The Galaxy Flip FE is rumoured to come out a few months later than the Galaxy Flip7 and Fold7, which are likely to debut in July 2025. This will give Samsung time to address the chipset's performance issues. The company is also focusing on the development of the Exynos 2600 to avoid previous mistakes. The Exynos 2600 may appear in the Galaxy S26 series, while the Flip FE will be a kind of testing field for the Exynos 2500.
