Cult action-platformer Croc Legend of the Gobbos will return on 2 April: a new trailer of the remaster of the 1997 game has been unveiled

Argonaut Games studio, which resumed after a 20-year hiatus in 2024, revealed the release date of the remaster of the cult adventure platformer Croc Legend of the Gobbos.

The developer unveiled a new trailer that not only showed gameplay footage of the updated game, but also revealed its release date.

Croc Legend of the Gobbos Remastered will be released on 2 April on PC (GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

The developers do not promise large-scale improvements: they increased the resolution of textures, improved the assets and some visual effects, added modern controls, and will also offer the Crocipedia add-on with bonus content.

Recall, the original version of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos was released in 1997 on PlayStation 1, Sega Saturn and PC.

Argonaut Games do not exclude that in case of success of this remaster, they will undertake the update of the second part of Croc.
