Blizzard announces new heroine for Overwatch 2 Season 16 - Freya

Blizzard continues to expand the roster of characters in Overwatch 2 and recently announced a new fighter for Season 16 - Freja:

Here's What We Know

A former lifeguard turned bounty hunter, Freja is now on the trail of Maximilien. Although they have a conflict, they eventually come to an agreement, after which he tasks her with tracking down a well-known but as yet unnamed target.

The animated trailer showcases Freya's combat abilities, including a powerful crossbow, a delayed explosive projectile and the ability to float in the air. In addition, she uses a bolas that not only restrains enemies but also creates a funnel that will likely explode when triggered.

Players will be able to try Freya before the official release - the test period will take place from 21 to 24 March, Kyiv time. However, Blizzard has not yet announced the exact start date of Season 16.
