Although Naughty Dog is currently focused on the new sci-fi project Intergalactic, insider Daniel Richtman claims that the developers are already secretly working on The Last of Us Part III. According to his information, the game will focus on a group of survivors who have settled in an old Victorian house on the outskirts of a post-apocalyptic city.

Richtman revealed some details about these characters:

• Val: the leader of the group.
• Gracie: a young woman about whom little is known.
• Mason: a man who seeks to seize power in the house, which leads to a conflict with Val.
• Ezra: a character who will have to decide whose side he is on.
• Lucas: a man who "develops a relationship" with another seeker, but will later show his "dark side".

It is not yet clear how these characters will fit into the overall story. Perhaps they will become allies of Ellie or Abby. Details about their interpersonal conflicts suggest that the player will be actively involved in their drama.

And Ellie will also be in the game, so no one has forgotten about the old characters.
