Oppo has unveiled new F29 and F29 Pro smartphones with a focus on durability and autonomy

Oppo has announced two new mid-range smartphones in India - F29 and F29 Pro. Both devices support 5G and are characterised by high durability and autonomy.

Here's What We Know

The F29 features a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The main camera has a resolution of 50 MP and the front camera is 8 MP. The 6500 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. The device is IP69, IP68 and IP66 certified, which provides protection against water and 18 different liquids. The smartphone can also operate for 4 hours in temperatures as low as -35 degrees Celsius. The Oppo F29 runs ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15 and is available in 8/128GB and 8/256GB configurations.

The F29 Pro offers more premium specs, including a curved AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and an improved 16 MP front camera. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and features a 6,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. The smartphone is also IP69, IP68 and IP66 rated and is additionally MIL-STD-810H certified to ensure resistance to mould, sunlight and ice. The F29 Pro is available in 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB configurations.

Both models are available for pre-order in India and sales will start in late March and early April. Prices range from $280 to $370 depending on the configuration.
