The Fortnite item store has undergone significant changes in recent years. Initially, it contained only a few items, but with the expansion of the number of cosmetic items from Epic Games, it has become much more extensive. Now, the developers are preparing another important change that will primarily affect the Festival section.

Here's What We Know

The biggest changes will affect Jam Tracks, the music tracks that were introduced in December 2023 along with Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing modes. Previously, they were released every Thursday, but this week one track appeared on Tuesday and another on Friday. Epic Games explained that this was not a mistake but part of an experimental approach to a more flexible release schedule.

In addition, the company decided to reduce the number of available Jam Tracks, focusing on a more careful selection of songs rather than their number. The development team is also exploring new ways to integrate music tracks into the gameplay. Recently, Moments was added to the game, a feature that allows you to play music while jumping off a combat bus or celebrating a victory.

In the future, Epic is expected to further expand the use of Jam Tracks, making them a more important element of the gaming experience.
