The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will only have 3 main cameras and a larger battery, according to an insider
According to recent reports, Samsung is planning significant changes to its upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship, which will be released in 2026.
Here's What We Know
According to insider @Vhsss_God, the device will feature three rear cameras instead of four like the current model. The prototype includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 200-megapixel sensor with 4x optical zoom. The reduction in the number of cameras may be due to the return of the variable aperture feature first introduced in the Galaxy S9, which will improve the quality of photos in different lighting conditions.
It is also reported that the battery capacity has been increased to 5500 mAh, an increase of 500 mAh over previous models. Some sources suggest the use of Silicon Carbon technology, which could lead to a capacity of up to 6,000 mAh.
The insider also revealed that the S Pen will also bring back Bluetooth for smartphone gesture control, which is missing from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, it is not yet known if all this functionality will be in the final version of the S26 Ultra smartphone.
