Samsung vice president died of a heart attack

A tragic loss for Samsung Electronics was announced today. The company's Vice Chairman Jong-Hee Han, who was 63 years old, passed away after suffering a massive heart attack. He was admitted to Samsung Medical Centre in Seoul a few days ago, where doctors fought for his life but unfortunately could not save him.

JH Han devoted 37 years of his life to the company, starting his career in the Visual Display division, which develops and sells televisions. Thanks to his efforts, Samsung held the leadership in the global TV market for 15 consecutive years. In 2021, he was appointed vice chairman and general manager of the combined consumer electronics and mobile devices division, known as Set Division.

Khan was scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the "Welcome to Bespoke" event scheduled for March 26, but due to his illness, the company announced a replacement speaker. J Hee Han's funeral will be held on 27 March, and a memorial will be set up at Samsung Hospital in Seoul.
