Galaxy S25 Edge: the thinnest smartphone of the Galaxy S25 line has already received FCC certification
Galaxy S25 Edge has received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This means that it will be launched in a few weeks.
Here's What We Know
According to 91mobiles, the Galaxy S25 Edge has already received the appropriate certification in the FCC database. Three models are mentioned: SM-S937U and SM-S937U1 (with FCC ID A3LSMS937U) and SM-S937B/DS. Probably, the model with the letter "B" is the global version of the device, and "DS" means Dual SIM support.
As usual, the FCC does not disclose the technical specifications of certified devices, although sometimes real photos can appear in the lists. In this case, there is no image yet. However, the design of the Galaxy S25 Edge is already known, as Samsung unveiled it at the beginning of the year.
New certified devices usually receive their approval a few weeks before the official announcement. According to rumours, the Galaxy S25 Edge might be launched on 16 April. However, Samsung is planning to present the new product without much fanfare, just like the Galaxy S FE models.
The company is not likely to hold a separate event, but will simply activate the product page on its website and announce the launch via social media.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to be the thinnest member of the Galaxy S line in the history of the series. It is expected to be only 5.84 mm thick, which is slightly larger than the iPhone 17 Air, but Samsung retains more important features.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and Tab S10 FE recently appeared on Geekbench.
