Android 11 is on schedule: Google is not going to cancel the Google I/O 2020 conference because of coronavirus
Many companies cancel presentations and large events because of coronavirus. A striking example of this is MWC 2020 exhibition, which had to be held in Barcelona, but was cancelled because of both organizers and participants concern. But Google does not panic and is not going to cancel anything.
Google I/O is on schedule
From 12 to 14 of May in Mountain View, California, the company will hold its annual conference for the Google I/O developers, and nobody is going to cancel it.
So, Google is already contacting people who has won tickets and is sending entrance fee payment notifications to participants. This year the average ticket cost is $ 1150 (for all 3 days). There are also academic tickets for $ 375 for students and teachers.
Taking into account the situation with coronavirus, Google allows to cancel conference registration before April 15 without any charges.
Let's remind, a new version of Android 11 operation system will be the main premiere of Google I/O 2020. Recently the company announced the first version of Android 11 Developers Preview.
