Galaxy A55 will be the first A-series model with One UI 7 beta
Samsung is preparing to launch the One UI 7 beta testing programme for Galaxy A55. Participants of the company's Indian forum noticed a special page dedicated to this update. This indicates its imminent release.
Here's What We Know
Users from India are likely to be the first to test the new firmware, followed by residents of South Korea and the UK.
Samsung has announced the One UI 7 beta programme for the Galaxy A55 along with the flagships Galaxy S23, Galaxy Fold 6, Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10. This is the only mid-range model that has officially been granted access to testing. As soon as the programme starts, Galaxy A55 owners will be able to register via the Samsung Members app.
When to expect the final version
If the first beta build is released in the near future, the stable version of One UI 7 for Galaxy A55 may appear in May. In April, the flagships of the last two years will start receiving the update. Galaxy S24, Fold 6, and Flip 6 will be the first to receive the stable version of the firmware, starting on 7 April.
Samsung recently released a two-minute teaser video showing the new features of One UI 7, accompanied by the slogan: "Get ready for the all-new One UI 7 - for Galaxy AI".
Samsung describes One UI 7 as the "most personalised, intuitive and natural" interface, which includes new features such as Now Brief, Now Bar, Google Gemini integration, Sketch to Image and AI-powered search. These features should make using the devices even more convenient and efficient.
