Nintendo's partners have blabbed again: the well-known retailer has revealed the launch date for Switch 2 console pre-orders
A Nintendo Direct presentation is set to take place on 2 April, where important information about the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 handheld console will be revealed.
It was expected that apart from showcasing the launch line-up of games and technical details, the company will finally name the console's release date and the start of pre-orders.
However, one of these items turned out to be revealed by Nintendo's partner.
Here's What We Know
North American retail chain Best Buy published a short post on its blog, in which it revealed the Switch 2 pre-order start date and now we know that it will be possible to pre-order Nintendo's new console from 2 April.
Most likely, this option will open right after the Nintendo Direct ends.
As a reminder, the other day authoritative insider Tom Henderson confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 will be released in June and will have a three-phase launch lineup of games, according to which the Switch 2 launch will be accompanied by the release of several major titles from Nintendo, with a number of third-party titles expected in October-November, and a third wave of releases in December.
