Apple plans to use Samsung's advanced OLED displays in all iPhone 17 models, including the base version.

Here's What We Know

This is a significant change as previously only premium models such as the Pro and Pro Max were equipped with the best screens. The new Samsung M14 displays are capable of up to 3,000 nits of brightness, which will improve outdoor visibility and HDR content quality. However, Apple is likely to limit the maximum brightness to maintain a balance between user comfort and power consumption.

In addition, all iPhone 17 models are expected to gain support for ProMotion technology with 120Hz refresh rate, which will provide a smoother interface and improved gaming experience.

Apple also plans to drop the Plus model, replacing it with a new version of the iPhone 17 Air, which will be the thinnest iPhone in the company's history. However, this device will have some limitations such as having only one camera.
