Honor GT Pro has received certification with 80W fast charging: what we know about the new product

Honor is preparing to launch a new smartphone, as the device with the model number AGI-AN00 has recently appeared on the Chinese certification platform 3C.

Here's What We Know

The official name has not yet been revealed. There is speculation that it could be the Honor GT Pro, an improved version of the Honor GT that debuted in December 2024 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. According to certification, the smartphone supports 80W fast charging, but details remain unknown.

According to insiders, Honor GT Pro may receive the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and high refresh rate.

The smartphone can receive a battery with a capacity of 5,500 mAh to 6,300 mAh. 80W fast wired charging will be one of the key features, while wireless charging will probably not be supported.

For photography, the Honor GT Pro will feature a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, just like the standard GT. The device also features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor to improve security when unlocking the device.

Given the previous pricing of the Honor GT, which ranged from 2,199 yuan (~$290) to 3,299 yuan (~$440), the price of the Pro version with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset could be around 3,200 yuan (~$425). If the company meets the deadline, the Honor GT Pro could be announced as early as April 2025.
