Android Auto beta got support for Android games in full-screen mode
Google has unveiled a new feature in the Android Auto 14.1 beta that lets you play popular Android games on car displays.
Here's What We Know
The available games include Candy Crush Soda Saga, Angry Birds 2, Farm Heroes Saga and Beach Buggy Racing. To utilise this feature, users must first install the games on their smartphones. The games can only be launched when the car is parked, as they automatically close and become inaccessible when the car is in motion.
Android Auto also offers a full-screen mode for apps for the first time, which improves interaction with the interface. However, it is not yet clear if this option will be available for other types of apps.
Google previously announced the feature as part of its March update, but it's not yet known when it will come out of beta testing.
