New leaks have emerged regarding the upcoming more affordable version of Samsung's foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Flip 7 FE. As expected, it turned out to be basically an updated version of the Galaxy Flip 6, without significant design changes.

Here's What We Know

Despite the rising prices of foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung plans to release a more affordable model this year.

The new device, which is likely to be called Galaxy Flip 7 FE, was demonstrated in the form of CAD renders from SammyGuru. The images show that it is almost identical to its predecessor. Like the Flip 6, the new device retains its compact size and smaller screens, compared to the expected Galaxy Flip 7, which may have improved displays.

The main difference between the Flip 7 FE and its predecessor, the Flip 6, is its dimensions. The new smartphone measures 165.1 x 71.7 x 7.4 mm, which is slightly wider and thicker than the Galaxy Flip 6 (165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm). This slight increase may indicate the possibility of a larger battery, which is often rumoured. However, at the moment, the exact details have not been disclosed.

According to the leaks, the new product may use an Exynos chip, and its release may take place a few months after the launch of the Galaxy Flip 7.

More details are expected in the coming months, when Samsung is likely to officially confirm all the specifications and release date of the Galaxy Flip FE.
