The first screenshots of Star Wars Bruno, an ambitious tactical game from Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor, have surfaced online

Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor studios were planning to present their ambitious tactical game based on Star Wars universe on the 19th of April within the Star Wars Celebration 2025 festival, but, as it often happens, the first information about the project hit the web before the time.

Here's What We Know

MP1st portal published several screenshots of the game, taken from Bit Reactor artist's portfolio and dated mid-2023. They show the main menu of the game called Star Wars Bruno and a few shots from the tutorial tasks.

In the drawings you can easily recognise the famous heroine Bo-Katan Kryze, who played a significant role in The Mandalorian and the Star Wars: Rebels animated series. From her presence in the game, we can conclude that the plot of Star Wars Bruno will be closely related to the events in the mentioned media projects.

The screenshots show an astro-droid and a certain jidai, but who these characters are - it is still unknown. Another Mandalorian is also visible, probably a fellow Bo-Katan Kryze.

Since the screenshots are almost two years old, we should expect that the interface and overall look of Star Wars Bruno has changed significantly.

As a reminder, Bit Reactor Studios is made up of Firaxis veterans who have worked on notable projects like XCOM and Civilisation.
