Insider: Assassin's Creed Hexe won't be released until 2027, but gamers will be getting a Black Flag remake soon enough

Last week saw the successful release of Assassin's Creed Shadows, a game on which Ubisoft spent a lot of effort, money, time and nerves. Now that the developers are free from such a massive project, they can turn their attention to other games. One of them is Assassin's Creed Hexe in the setting of 16th century Europe, but two other games may be released before its release.
Here's What We Know
Authoritative insider Tom Henderson shared his opinion about the order of release of the next parts of Assassin's Creed and it's hard to disagree with him.
He recalled that the release of Shadows was pushed back from November 2024 to February 2025, which significantly affected Ubisoft's entire schedule, especially the release date of Codename Hexe. Henderson now expects that game to be released in 2027, and before that, gamers will get the Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake and Project Invictus multiplayer.
The as yet unrevealed updated Pirates game was said to be due out in 2025, but due to the release of Shadows, it will be released in 2026. After the remake, the company will release an experimental 16-player competitive game under the working title Project Invictus, which is rumoured to be reminiscent of Fall Guys, and only then will gamers get a full-fledged new installment of Assassin's Creed.
Recall, about Hexe is known only that it will be dedicated to the period of "witch hunts", and the main character (presumably) will be a girl Elsa.
