The PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered will get full Steam Deck compatibility right away

PC-gamers will get access to The Last of Us Part II for the first time on the 3rd of April.

The developers promise to support all modern technologies, including image scaling and correct display on ultra-wide monitors.

As it turned out, the authors also took care of the fans of portable consoles.

Here's What We Know

Naughty Dog studio announced that from the first day after the release The Last of Us Part II Remastered will get full compatibility with Steam Deck.

This means that Naughty Dog employees and Valve engineers made sure that the game works correctly and guarantee that gamers will have no problems with installing and running The Last of Us Part II Remastered on Steam Deck.

To recap, the original release of the game was in 2020 and it, without exaggeration, shocked with its story and pitch. The remaster was released in early 2024 only on PS5.

PC gamers are still encouraged to pre-order on Steam and EGS and receive a number of in-game bonuses for doing so.
