Samsung starts selling certified pre-owned Galaxy S24 in South Korea
Samsung has launched a programme to sell Galaxy Certified Used Phones in South Korea. These are certified used smartphones that can be purchased at a lower price.
Here's What We Know
The company has long offered similar devices under the name "Re-newed", and now it is expanding this initiative.
So far, the programme covers only Galaxy S24 series smartphones, but the list of available devices will expand in the future. Buying such a smartphone is a profitable decision, as the Galaxy S24 remains a powerful and modern device, and will soon receive an update to One UI 7, which will allow it to remain up-to-date with newer models.
Users can save between KRW 260,000 and KRW 640,000 ($175 and $434) by purchasing a Galaxy Certified Used Phone. Here are the current prices:
- Galaxy S24 (256 GB) - 889,900 KRW (~$604),
- Galaxy S24 (512 GB) - 949,300 KRW (~$645),
- Galaxy S24+ (256 GB) - 1,041,700 KRW (~$708),
- Galaxy S24+ (512 GB) - 1,101,100 KRW (~$747),
- Galaxy S24 Ultra (256 GB) - 1,307,900 KRW (~$888),
- Galaxy S24 Ultra (512 GB) - 1,367,300 KRW (~$928),
- Galaxy S24 Ultra (1 TB) - 1,486,100 KRW (~$1,008).
All devices have been thoroughly tested and are in excellent condition. Some of them were returned within seven days of purchase without any traces of use. There is also a chance to get a smartphone that has only been unpacked but not used. Thus, buyers get an almost new device at a better price.
