Information has emerged that Lenovo is planning to release a new gaming tablet Legion, which will be an update of the Y700 (2025) model.

Here's What We Know

According to leaks from a well-known Digital Chat Station insider, the device will retain the 8.8-inch display, but will get a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used in the previous version. It is also expected to have a larger battery capacity, which was 6,550 mAh in the Y700, and an improved design with a thinner bezel. The tablet will feature dual speakers and two vibration motors on the X-axis.

The release date of the new tablet is still unknown, but it is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2025. The device will compete with the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi gaming tablet, which is rumoured to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor and a similar screen size.
