Krafton strengthens its position in India: the Korean giant acquires a controlling stake in the Indian studio Nautilus for $14 million
South Korean gaming industry giant Krafton, known for PUBG, has acquired a controlling stake in the Indian studio Nautilus Mobile for $14 million.

Nautilus Mobile, founded in 2013, gained popularity thanks to the Real Cricket series of mobile games, which has more than 250 million downloads. The studio is based in Pune and has a team of 45 employees who will continue to work after the deal.
With this deal, Krafton plans to strengthen its presence in the Indian market and expand its sports games portfolio. The company intends to combine Nautilus' expertise in sports game development with its own global capabilities and technological know-how.
Anuj Mankar, CEO of Nautilus Mobile, said: "Our capabilities at Nautilus will help Krafton double down on its Indian gaming strategy and together we can create more games and genres for both the Indian and global markets."
Krafton also has a stake in or wholly owns Bluehole Studios, PUBG Studios, Striking Distance, Unknown Worlds, Tango Gameworks, and InZOI Studio.
