Samsung hasreportedly postponed the launch of its new Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone, which was originally planned to be unveiled in April 2025.

Here's What We Know

The device is now expected in May or June. According to Korean sources, the decision to postpone is not due to quality issues, but most likely due to changes in the company's schedule following the recent death of Samsung DX head Jong-Hee Han.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be the company's thinnest smartphone yet and will reportedly be unveiled at an online event where the price and release date will also be announced. The 256GB storage version is expected to cost around 1.5 million Korean won (roughly $1023).

The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 200 MP and 12 MP dual camera, a 12 MP front camera and a 3,900 mAh battery. The device will be available in three colours: black, blue and silver. Samsung plans to release around 3 million units of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which will account for about 10 per cent of the total shipments of the Galaxy S25 series.
