The release of stealth action game Steel Seed has been postponed to 22 April
Steel Seed stealth action-adventure game was expected to be released on the 10th of April, but the developers decided to postpone its release a bit.
Here's What We Know
Publisher ESDigital Games and studio Storm in a Teacup reported that they had some minor problems with console versions of Steel Seed and to fix them the game's release has been postponed to 22 April.
The CEO of the studio Carlo Ivo Alimo Bianchi commented on the situation:
We want to sincerely thank you for your patience and unwavering support of Steel Seed. Since the announcement of the project, your enthusiasm has been truly inspiring and we understand how much you are looking forward to immersing yourself in the dark sci-fi world of Steel Seed on all platforms. That's why we want to be absolutely sincere with you: our teams faced technical difficulties in the process of certification testing and adaptation of builds on consoles. To avoid releasing an insufficiently high quality product that would require a lot of urgent patches, we made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the game's release.
Steel Seed is set in the distant future, where the Earth has undergone an ecological catastrophe, and the surviving humanity is forced to hide deep underground and rely on the help of robots with artificial intelligence.
The protagonist of the game will be a girl Zoe, and her drone companion KOBY will help her. Protagonist will have to explore gloomy locations, deftly overcome obstacles, jump a lot, climb, stealthily destroy aggressive robots and conduct reconnaissance with the help of the drone. However, even in open combat the girl is not defenseless and can confidently fight back the enemy, in this case the player will be helped by a well-thought-out combat system.
The game will be available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
