Casio introduces G-Shock GMDB300SC for $120: a colourful watch for tracking steps

Casio has launched the new G-Shock Move GMDB300SC series in the US, which combines style, durability and fitness monitoring features for $120. The watch is available in three bright colours: turquoise, coral orange, and white.

Here's What We Know

The GMDB300SC has an octagonal case with dimensions of 46.4 × 43.8 × 12 mm and weighs just 41 grams. The bezel and strap are made of plastic containing materials of plant origin.

The watch is equipped with a step tracker with a motion sensor that allows you to track your daily step count and set goals from 1,000 to 50,000 steps. The data can be synced with the CASIO WATCHES app via Bluetooth for activity tracking.

The GMDB300SC is water resistant to 200 metres, shock resistant and automatically corrects the time when connected to your phone. The watch shows the time for 300 cities around the world, has a stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, a countdown timer and five daily alarms. The white LED backlight makes it easy to see the time in the dark with the ability to adjust the backlight duration.

Casio has not yet confirmed whether this watch will be available in other regions such as Europe.
