Vivo Pad SE: leaks reveal budget specs and memory options
Vivo is preparing to launch a new budget Android tablet, the Vivo Pad SE, which is expected to debut alongside the premium Pad 5 Pro in April 2025.
Here's What We Know
The Pad SE will be aimed at consumers looking for a more affordable alternative and is a smaller version of the Pad 5 Pro.
According to the latest leak from well-known insider Digital Chat Station, the Pad SE will feature a 12.25-inch display, which is slightly smaller than the 13-inch screen of the Pad 5 Pro. While the Pad 5 Pro is likely to have a high refresh rate (possibly 144Hz), the Pad SE will not have such luxurious specs. Instead, it will have a display with soft light technology, which will provide a pleasant viewing experience without excessive brightness.
Another difference between the Pad SE and the older model will be the charging speed. While the Pad 5 Pro supports 66W fast charging, the Pad SE will be limited to 15W, which may disappoint users who expect a quick charge.
Pad SE will be available in three colours: Blue, Titanium and Dark Gray. In terms of internal storage, the tablet will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants available. Although the processor has not yet been revealed, the Pad SE is expected to compete with devices such as the Lenovo Tab P12, offering good value for money for budget tablets.
As the launch date approaches, more details will be revealed.
