It's official: two versions of GTA V will be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass in mid-April

Today we reported that according to rumours the famous crime action game GTA V will return to the Xbox Game Pass catalogue in April.

A few hours have passed and Microsoft and Rockstar Games studio not only confirmed the information, but also supplemented it.

Here's What We Know

On 15 April, Grand Theft Auto V will indeed reappear on Game Pass and will be available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Moreover, gamers will be offered two versions of the game at once: outdated 2014 and technically improved Enhanced Edition, which was released on consoles in 2022, and reached PC in March 2025. It features improved lighting, higher quality textures, modern ray tracing and realistic reflections, and other important changes.

Gamers won't be tied to their chosen version and will be able to switch to another at any time.
