One of the main differences between the Nintendo Switch 2 and the last generation console is the GameChat feature, which allows direct communication with friends, including video calls. However, this requires the purchase of a camera.

Here's What We Know

Nintendo is, of course, offering gamers an in-house-made camera. It comes in a minimalistic black colour and costs €60.

As with other Switch accessories, third-party companies are offering alternative gadgets, and the Hori brand has unveiled the Piranha Plant camera.

This aggressive flower is familiar to every Mario fan and the camera looks much cooler and creative in this design. In addition, it is cheaper than the Nintendo camera and costs €40.

The Piranha Plant Camera will launch at the same time as the Switch 2 release on 5 June.
