Oblivion remake is getting closer: Bethesda "for some reason" removed trailers of the original version of The Elder Scrolls IV from Steam

Not so long ago, reputable insiders surprised the gamer community with the news that the long-rumoured remake of the cult RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be released in April. But even the impeccable reputation of these sources did not prevent many gamers from doubting their data, but today another indirect evidence of the soon release or, at least, the approaching announcement of the updated game has been found.

Here's What We Know

An attentive user under the nickname JavaTheHuttese found in the SteamDB database that Bethesda removed Oblivion trailers from the game's Steam page.

The developers are clearly doing some activity and getting rid of some files, the names of which definitely say that they are TES IV trailers.

At the moment, only one video and a selection of screenshots of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are available on Steam, although there were more previously.

In addition, authoritative insider Nate the Hate once again expressed confidence that TES IV: Remake will be released within a month.

There is a possibility that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake could be announced on 10 April at the ESO Direct 2025 show.

According to rumours, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake is based on Unreal Engine 5 and will offer gamers new game systems and mechanics, for example, there was information about the changed combat system and modern execution of the ability to block enemy blows.
