Film studio A24 and the famous Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima have been preparing for a long time to produce a film adaptation of the famous game Death Stranding.

Until now it was known only that "the film will go beyond a simple film adaptation", and finally there is some concrete information.

Here's What We Know

Deadline has learned that Death Stranding will be directed and written by Michael Sarnoski, the author of the successful horror film A Quiet Place: Day One. This film became the most successful in the history of the series and made Sarnoski a famous director.

Let's remind that one of the producers of the film adaptation will be Hideo Kojima himself and there is no doubt that he will make sure that his ideas will be realised correctly.

Recall, Death Stranding came out in 2019 and made, without exaggeration, a revolution in the realisation of what story games can be.
