The US has already delivered 150 Senator armoured vehicles to Ukraine, 40 more are on the way
Since the beginning of 2025, the National Police and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have received 150 Roshel Senator MRAP armoured vehicles. Another 40 vehicles are reportedly in the process of being delivered.
What is known
In March, it was reported that Ukraine had received the 1700th Roshel Senator armoured vehicle, and that armoured vehicles for the Ministry of Internal Affairs are likely to be included in this number. According to Roman Shimonov, the company's CEO, more than 90% of the vehicles were financed by foreign governments, including Ukraine. The share of Canada, from which the manufacturer originates, is about 10%.
In September 2024, Ukraine received the 1400th Senator armoured vehicle, and by December 2023, it had already received 1000 vehicles. In general, production rates are increasing: from 1000 to 1400 units in nine months, and from 1400 to 1700 in just five months. Today, Roshel is able to produce up to 120 cars per month.
It is also worth noting that in late February, an agreement was signed to launch joint production of Roshel armoured vehicles in Ukraine. One of the domestic enterprises will receive technical documentation and components. The company also plans to invest tens of millions of dollars in the construction of a plant in Ukraine, which will focus on both the domestic and European markets.
