Chicken in the cinema: Minecraft fans cross the line with inappropriate performances
After the release of Minecraft, cinema-goers began to stage real performances during screenings (though not all of them are pleasant). However, one case surpassed all the previous ones: someone brought a live chicken to the screening.
Here's What We Know
In the film's scene where Jack Black's character shouts "chicken jockey" (a rare occurrence in the game Minecraft, when a zombie baby rides a chicken), the audience reacted overly emotionally: screaming, applauding and even throwing popcorn. Some of these antics led to the police being called and the offenders being removed from the halls.
However, the case of the live chicken surpassed all the previous ones. A TikTok user posted a video showing a viewer bringing a real chicken to a film screening. He later added: "It's safe to say we were kicked out."
Cinemas are urging patrons to follow the rules of behaviour and respect other viewers.
