Sony raises prices for all PlayStation Plus subscription tiers in 15 Latin American countries

Sony is increasing the price of PlayStation Plus subscriptions for all tiers in 15 Latin American countries from 16 April 2025.

The following countries will be affected by the price increase:
- Argentina
- Bolivia
- Chile
- Colombia
- Costa Rica
- Ecuador
- El Salvador
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- Mexico
- Nicaragua
- Panama
- Paraguay
- Peru
- Uruguay
Sony attributes the decision to "global market conditions" and notes that the price increase will allow it to "continue to offer high-quality games and additional benefits for your PlayStation Plus subscription."
The new prices for all subscription tiers are as follows:
- PS Plus Essential: 1 month, $8; 3 months, $21; 12 months, $65
- PS Plus Extra: 1 month - $12; 3 months - $34; 12 months - $108
- PS Plus Deluxe: 1 month - $14; 3 months - $40; 12 months - $125
The changes apply to both new users and current subscribers: new users will pay the updated price from the moment they subscribe, while for current subscribers the new rates will take effect at the start of the next billing period.
