Samsung has released the One UI 7 stable update for the Galaxy Flip 6 and Fold 6 in the US

Samsung has started rolling out the stable version One UI 7.0, based on Android 15, for the Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 foldable smartphones in the US. Earlier, the update appeared in South Korea and European countries.

Here's What We Know

The update is available for both carrier-locked models and unlocked devices. Users who participated in the beta test can download the update at around 400-500MB, while for the rest of the users, the update is around 5GB in size. Apart from interface improvements, the update includes the April 2025 security patch.

The Galaxy Flip 6 and Fold 6, released in 2024 with Android 14, have been promised seven major OS updates. One UI 7.0 was the first of these, and the devices will receive updates all the way up to Android 21 in the future. The update is expected in other countries in the coming days.
