Fighting fire and demons: gameplay trailer of the unusual game Into the Fire from the creators of The Invincible is presented
A few months ago Polish studio Starward Industries, which released a good sci-fi adventure game The Invincible based on Stanislav Lem's novel of the same name in 2023, announced its new project called Dante's Ring.
The developers presented a new trailer, which not only shows gameplay footage, but also reveals the new title of the game.
Here's What We Know
So, Dante's Ring has changed its name and now appears as Into the Fire.
The authors reminded that the main character of the game will be a firefighter - he will go to explore a chain of volcanoes, which seemed to be sleeping, but suddenly they begin to erupt. Protagonist must save as many lives as possible and not die himself among the lava flows, raging fires and earthquakes. However, the hero will have to fight not only with natural phenomena, but also with demons that burst out of the underworld.
The player needs to collect resources and competently dispose of them to achieve goals. Also moral dilemmas and the need to make decisions that will affect the plot await gamers.
The developers showed gameplay footage of the pre-alpha version, which, expectedly, looks raw, but shows that the game will really be unconventional and interesting.
The protagonist has a large firefighting kit, fire extinguisher, some kind of foam grenades and other equipment, made in retrofuturistic style. But it's his transport that gets the most attention.
Into the Fire is scheduled for release on Steam Early Access by the end of 2025, with version 1.0 expected in 2026.
