The authors of co-operative horror Barotrauma announced their new game - Frostrail.

FakeFish studio decided to try itself in a different genre and presented the debut trailer of the shooter with survival simulator elements Frostrail.

The game will offer to dive into survival in an icy wasteland, where unseen monsters live. Gamers will have to search for resources, take care of their own safety, heating and availability of suitable weapons and ammunition for them. The main feature of the game will be the presence of a train as not only transport, but also a hub-location, where you can rest, shelter from danger and pick up equipment. However, you need to take care of the train, for example, repair it in time, modernise the engine, and attach additional wagons.

You can pass Frostrail either alone or in a company of up to four people.

When We Can Expect It

Frostrail will be released on Steam Early Access in 2026.
