Ulefone Armor 30 Pro survived freezing to -30°C and a car accident
Ulefone has introduced a new ruggedised smartphone Armor 30 Pro - the world's first device with two real displays in an armoured body.
Here's What We Know
Both screens are covered with Gorilla Glass 5, which helped the gadget to survive a series of extreme tests.
In a video published by the manufacturer, Armor 30 Pro was used as a hammer and even as a nut tong. It was drilled with an electric drill, frozen at -30°C, and then the ice block was broken to get the smartphone out. And even after a 2.3-tonne Toyota Alphard drove over it, the device remained unscathed.
One of the displays is a 3.6-inch auxiliary screen on the back, which Ulefone calls the largest in its class. The device received double protection not only externally but also in the software: Armour 30 Pro runs on Android and has 5G support.
The manufacturer emphasises that all tests were conducted by professionals and are not recommended for repetition. The smartphone is already available on Amazon for $499.99, but from 14 to 20 April 2025, it will be available at a discounted price of $379.99.
The smartphone is equipped with a backlit speaker that can be switched off and allows it to be used as a Bluetooth speaker.
The Dimensity 7300X processor and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM provide performance, while the 512GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage allows for fast data processing. The 12,800mAh battery supports 66W fast charging and reverse charging.
The 64MP camera and infrared sensors allow you to shoot in the dark, while the 32MP front-facing camera is good for selfies.
